Engineering kits for girls + Beastie Boys tune best toy ad ever

Stanford-educated engineer Debbie Sterling was bothered by how few women there were in her field, and by how few options there were for girls discover engineering through their toys. So she started GoldieBlox, a toy company that makes construction sets and other products geared toward girls, with the hope of inspiring a love of engineering. For this ad, they recruited three awesome young ladies and the guy who did the Rube Goldberg machine for OK Go, and the result is this awesome contraption. The Beastie Boys-inspired soundtrack doesn't hurt either.
