26-year-old Chantae Gilman was charged with second-degree rape for assaulting a victim “incapable of consenting to sexual intercourse by reason of being physically helpless”, after samples taken from the alleged victim’s body matched her DNA.
According to the police report the man, who says he does not know Gilman personally, but admits that she was an acquaintance of another man living in the duplex and also describes her as a “drug user in the area”.
The alleged victim attended a birthday party for a neighbour, who was also known to Gilman, on the night of the attack.
“Once arriving home he fell asleep on his bed,” reported Seattle Detective Roger Ishimitsu. “The victim slept very hard due to a long day.”
The man says he woke at 2am to find Gilman, who stands 5’7” tall and weighs over 17 stone, on top of him with his erect penis inside of her.

He says his hands were “pinned down over his head”.
He told her to dismount, which she allegedly ignored.
The man was eventually “able to work his way out from underneath” her, before throwing her out of his apartment.
He then went to a nearby medical centre for a sexual assault examination.
When questioned Gilman told police that she didn’t know the man nor did she remember being at his house, or having sex with him.
Detective Ishimitsu wrote: “She said that she has a mental illness and suffers from Bipolar disorder and Psychosis.”
Gilman was arrested after her DNA was linked to the victim.

According to her Facebook page Gilman has been sober for two months and is currently 31 weeks pregnant which also being a mother of two.
