According to TMZ, the DNA test results that FlimOn.TV obtained showing that Michael Jackson fathered a lovechild named Brandon Howard were falsified.
Thursday (March 6), an online press conference was held by the latter site, during which the staff claimed to have data from a lab in Washington, D.C., proving with a 99.9 percent accuracy that the 31-year-old singer has MJ's genes. They suggested, even, that Howard is the mystery kid that the now deceased pop star sang about in his song "Billie Jean," released via his 1982 album, Thriller.
The former site, which was first to claim to be in talks with Howard about breaking the news, is now reporting that they've gained access to those documents cited by FilmOn's team, and apparently the ["bogus"] paperwork they used came from a lab in Ireland that uses a logo that can be found on promotional T-shirts for the movie Terminator Salvation.
So, is MJ the father or not? We may never know.
Meanwhile, as of press time, the last word from B. Howard is still, "It is true I did do a DNA test, but it had nothing to do with any of this."
