Kareem Granton, 11 - who had been missing since he disappeared from his Brooklyn home on Wednesday - was found safe in Union Square on Monday.
An 11-year-old boy who went missing last week from his Brooklyn home was found in Manhattan on Monday, police said.
A straphanger spotted the child, Kareem Granton — who disappeared from his East New York apartment building on Wednesday — at the Union Square subway station about 7 a.m., police said.
"I think that's the kid who was reported missing," she told a police officer at the station.
The boy told police who he was before his parents were called to the station. He said he had been riding the train by himself.
