The young woman was declared brain dead Sunday, only about 36 hours after three women and two men severely beat Pham following an argument outside The Crosby about 12:20 a.m. Saturday.
The five suspects made a run for it while Pham was rushed to the hospital, where police described her as comatose on Monday and in critical condition. One of the five suspects, a woman in her 20s, was arrested Monday and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and causing great bodily harm, police told the L.A. Times.

Cops investigate outside The Crosby early Saturday following the severe beating. The young woman later died and her suspected killers have yet to be caught.
“It started as a verbal argument and escalated into a physical altercation,” Santa Ana Cpl. Anthony Bertagna told the L.A. Times. “They beat her until she was unconscious.”
Only Pham’s family have identified the woman as the victim and reported she has died.

A group of five is reportedly responsible for the vicious beating outside The Crosby.
The vicious beatdown was eventually stopped, but cops believe some callous bystanders may have taken cellphone video as Pham was beaten to near-death. Police now hope that video footage could help collar the other suspects, described as Hispanic and between 20 and 25 years old.
On Sunday, Katie Nguyen, the victim’s sister, posted on Facebook that “the doctors all confirmed that Kim’s brain dead.” Police have yet to declare the victim deceased, nor have they publicly identified the woman.
